Kitebill

India invoice template (INR, USD, GSTIN notes)

A practical invoice template for freelancers in India billing local companies or overseas clients — with an honest note on GST e-invoicing limits.

Template fields for India-based freelancers

Whether you bill Indian companies in INR or overseas clients in USD, a clear template reduces payment delays. Kitebill is a PDF and local tracker — not a GST e-invoice / IRP portal.

GST and e-invoice honesty

USD clients while you live in India

Invoice in the agreed currency. When Payoneer, Deel, Wise or a marketplace pays you, record the INR you actually received and the fees in the app so the dashboard matches your bank — same idea as USD→PKR tracking for Pakistani freelancers.

Language

Print labels are English, English + Arabic, or English + Urdu today. Hindi bilingual labels are not built in; keep line items in English (or the language your client uses) in the description fields.

Questions

Can Kitebill generate GST e-invoices for the IRP?

No. Use government-compliant software if you are mandated to e-invoice.

Can I show CGST and SGST as separate lines?

You can add them as line items or explain them in Notes. There is one tax-% field on the totals, not a full GST return engine.

Is UPI a good How-to-pay line?

For domestic clients, yes if they pay that way. For overseas clients, prefer the platform or bank details they already use.
