KitebillBilingual Arabic + English invoice
Clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait are often happy with English, but finance teams and government-linked companies may prefer Arabic headings. A bilingual invoice avoids the question entirely.

How to make one
- Open the free generator and choose English + Arabic.
- Choose AED, SAR, USD or another currency.
- If you are VAT-registered, enter your tax registration number in Tax ID and set the tax %.
- Print or save as PDF.
In the Kitebill app, set Settings → Invoice language → English + Arabic once and every invoice follows — bilingual labels are included in the free plan.
Important: tax invoices and e-invoicing
Bilingual labels are about readability. Tax rules are separate:
- UAE: VAT-registered suppliers must issue tax invoices with specific details, such as the words "Tax Invoice" and the supplier's TRN (FTA guide, PDF). The UAE is also rolling out a national e-invoicing system in phases (Ministry of Finance). Details are in our UAE guide.
- Saudi Arabia: ZATCA requires VAT-registered taxpayers to issue electronic invoices through compliant solutions, with a second "integration" phase rolled out in waves (ZATCA guideline, PDF).
Kitebill produces PDF invoices. It is not a ZATCA- or UAE-accredited e-invoicing system. If you are in scope for those mandates, use an approved solution for your tax invoices. Kitebill still suits freelancers who are outside those rules or who bill clients abroad.
Questions
Is the layout right-to-left?
No. Headings show English and Arabic side by side on a left-to-right layout, so numbers, currencies and tables stay aligned for international readers.
Can I write item descriptions in Arabic?
Yes. Any text you type prints as entered. Check the saved PDF once to make sure your system font renders it well.
Does Kitebill support ZATCA QR codes or XML e-invoices?
No. It creates printable PDF invoices only. Businesses in scope for ZATCA or UAE e-invoicing need an approved e-invoicing solution.
