Tips for Urdu and bilingual invoices
- Keep amounts in Western digits (1, 2, 3). Banks and payment platforms expect them, and it avoids misreading.
- Put payment details in English. IBAN, account title and bank name should match your bank records exactly.
- Use the client's language for descriptions. A Lahore retailer may prefer "ویب سائٹ ڈیزائن". A London agency needs "Website design".
- Make sure the PDF shows Urdu correctly. Most modern browsers ship an Urdu-capable font. Open the saved PDF once to check before you send it.

Questions
Can the whole invoice be in Urdu?
The headings print as English + Urdu pairs. The body (your items, notes, addresses) prints whatever you type, including Urdu. The layout stays left-to-right so numbers and tables line up for both readers.
Is the Urdu invoice feature free?
Yes. The online generator is free and needs no signup, and the Kitebill app lets you choose English + Urdu labels in Settings on the free plan. Pro is not required for bilingual labels.
Which currencies can I use?
The generator offers USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SAR, PKR, INR, CAD and AUD. The full app supports 25 currencies and converts totals to your base currency using the exchange rate you enter.
