About Kitebill
Kitebill is a small invoicing web app for freelancers who bill clients in other countries. It's built and run by one independent developer in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Who makes it
Kitebill is operated by Muhammad Talha Akram, a sole proprietor in Islamabad, Pakistan. It isn't a registered company, and there are no investors and no office. The same legal details are on the Terms and Contact pages, because Paddle, our Merchant of Record, requires them. Support is by email at mtabarca24@gmail.com, in English, usually within 2 business days.
Why it exists
A lot of freelancers here invoice in US dollars, euros or dirhams, get paid through Payoneer, Wise or a bank transfer with fees taken out, and then think about the money in their own currency. Most invoicing tools want a cloud account, and many push a monthly plan for what is mostly a numbered PDF plus a list of who still owes you. Kitebill does that part well, keeps everything on your own device, and costs one payment if you outgrow the free plan.
- Multi-currency invoices with the exchange rate you actually got
- A field for the amount that really arrived after fees
- An overdue list, so nothing slips
- English, English + Arabic or English + Urdu print labels
- No account, no tracking, works offline
What it deliberately doesn't do: quotes, recurring invoices, emailing invoices for you, online card payments, bank sync, and sync between devices. If you need those, a cloud tool like Zoho Invoice or Invoice Ninja is a better fit. Our comparisons say so plainly.
How it's funded
Only by Pro licenses, a one-time US$29. The site has no ads and no analytics, and we never receive your invoices, so there's nothing to sell. Hosting is a static site plus a tiny license service, which keeps running costs low enough that a one-time price works.
What we promise
- The free plan stays free, with no time limit.
- Pro 1.x is a one-time purchase. No subscription will be added to it.
- Your data stays in your browser. We have no server that stores it.
- 30-day, no-questions refund on Pro. See how buying works.
- No fake reviews, user counts or "as seen on" logos. Kitebill launched in September 2026 and is still small, and we'd rather say so.
