Saudi invoice template (SAR, VAT notes, Arabic labels)
A PDF invoice template for freelancers billing Saudi clients — plus a clear note on what Kitebill does and does not cover under ZATCA e-invoicing.
Template fields for Saudi freelancers
Saudi businesses often expect clear seller details, SAR or agreed foreign currency, and VAT information when you are registered. Kitebill helps you produce a clean PDF. It is not a ZATCA Phase-2 e-invoicing solution.
| Field | What to include | Note |
|---|---|---|
| From | Legal / trade name, city, KSA, email | Match commercial registration where possible. |
| VAT number | If VAT-registered, put it in From or Notes | Confirm current obligations with a qualified adviser. |
| Bill to | Client legal name + address (+ VAT number for B2B) | AP teams reject incomplete buyer blocks. |
| Currency | SAR locally; USD/EUR common for remote work | Keep currency consistent with the contract. |
| Tax line | VAT % when applicable, or note if exempt/zero-rated | Not tax advice. |
| How to pay | Saudi IBAN or international payout platform | State who pays SWIFT fees. |
ZATCA e-invoicing honesty note
Saudi Arabia's e-invoicing programme (Fatoorah) has phases that require compliant generation and, for many taxpayers, integration with ZATCA systems. See ZATCA's e-invoicing detailed guideline (PDF). {BRAND}:
- creates ordinary printable PDFs in your browser,
- does not generate ZATCA XML, QR cryptographic stamps, or API clearance,
- is fine for freelancers who only need a professional PDF today, and the wrong tool if you are legally required to issue Phase-2 compliant e-invoices.
Arabic bilingual labels
Switch to English + Arabic in the generator or app for finance-team-friendly headings. See bilingual EN+AR.

Questions
Is Kitebill ZATCA compliant?
No. It makes browser PDFs. If you must issue Phase-2 compliant e-invoices, use a ZATCA-approved solution.
Can I invoice in USD from KSA?
If the contract says USD, put USD on the invoice. Record FX in the app when money arrives.
Do Arabic labels change the legal meaning?
Labels are bilingual headings. Your descriptions and numbers stay as you typed them; get legal review for regulated wording.
