Kitebill

Translator & interpreter invoice template

Translation invoices get paid when the language pair, unit (words/pages/hours) and deadline match the PO — not when the PDF only says "translation".

Bilingual labels

If your client wants Arabic or Urdu headings on the PDF itself, use EN+AR or EN+UR in the generator or app. See bilingual EN+AR and EN+UR.

Agencies vs direct clients

Discounts and TM matches

If you gave a fuzzy-match discount, show the full rate and the discount amount separately so the agency can audit. Kitebill has a discount field for a single amount; for complex TM grids, summarize in Notes and attach the CAT report to the email.

Make one now

  1. Open the generator; set currency and language pair in the description.
  2. Put word count and rate on separate clear lines.
  3. Save agency contacts in the app for next month.

Questions

Source or target word count?

State which on the invoice. Agencies argue about this — match the PO.

Can I invoice in the client's currency?

Yes. Record the rate you actually received in the app.

Interpreting minimums?

Put them in Notes and as a line if you billed the minimum.
