Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use the Kitebill website and app. The controller is Muhammad Talha Akram (Islamabad, Pakistan), trading as Kitebill. Contact: mtabarca24@gmail.com.

1. The app: your data stays on your device

Invoices, clients, expenses, settings and your license key are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never sent to us, and we have no server that stores them. Backups you export are files on your device. Clearing your browser data deletes this information.

2. No analytics, no advertising

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website or in the app. The app uses local storage only to save your own data and a service worker only so the app can load offline.

3. Hosting

This website is served by a static hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages). Like any web server, the provider processes your IP address and request details (for example, browser type and pages requested) to deliver the site and protect against abuse. We don't use these logs to identify you.

4. Purchases: Paddle

Purchases are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the information needed for payment, tax compliance and fraud prevention (for example, your name, email, country, postcode, IP address and payment details) under its own Privacy Policy. Paddle's checkout script is loaded only on the pricing page and may use cookies or similar technologies needed for checkout and fraud prevention. We never see your card or payment details. Paddle shares with us the order details we need: your email, country, the product bought, the amount and the transaction/invoice number. We use them to deliver and recover your license, provide support, handle refunds and keep records required by law.

5. License delivery and recovery

When you get or recover a license key, your browser sends the transaction ID, or your email and invoice number, to our license service (a Cloudflare Worker). It checks the purchase with Paddle and returns your key. The service doesn't store this data; Cloudflare may keep short-term technical request logs.

6. Support emails

If you email us, we use your email address and message to answer you. We keep support emails as long as needed to help you and for our records, then delete them.

7. Legal bases and your rights

We process purchase and support data to perform our contract with you and to meet legal obligations. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR), you can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal data, or object to processing, by writing to mtabarca24@gmail.com. 8. Children

Kitebill is a business tool and not directed at children under 16.

We'll post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
