1. Who we are

Kitebill (the "Software") and this website are provided by Muhammad Talha Akram, an individual sole proprietor based in Islamabad, Pakistan, trading as "Kitebill" ("we", "us"). Kitebill is not a registered company. Contact: mtabarca24@gmail.com.

2. Merchant of Record: Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you buy Kitebill Pro, you buy it from Paddle, and Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Paddle handles payment, sales tax/VAT, invoices/receipts and refunds.

3. The Software

Kitebill is a web application for creating invoices and tracking income. It runs in your web browser and stores your data locally on your device. The free plan is limited to 3 clients and 10 invoices. Kitebill Pro removes those limits and adds the features listed on the pricing page.

4. Pro license

• On payment you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Kitebill Pro for your own business or personal purposes, on any browsers and devices you personally use.
• One license is for one person. You may not share, publish, resell or sublicense your license key.
• The license is a one-time purchase with no subscription. It includes all updates to version 1.x that we release. We may offer a future major version separately; your 1.x license keeps working.
• If your payment is refunded or charged back, the license ends and you must stop using Pro features.

5. Prices, payment and delivery

Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page. Applicable sales tax/VAT is calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout. The license key is delivered immediately on screen after successful payment and can be recovered on the license recovery page. You must accept these Terms before purchase.

6. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the Refund Policy. Refunds are processed by Paddle.

7. Your data and backups

Your invoices, clients and settings are stored only in your browser. We don't receive, host or back up this data and cannot recover it. You're responsible for exporting backups (Settings → Export backup) and for the accuracy of your invoices and tax records. Kitebill is a record-keeping tool and doesn't provide tax, legal or accounting advice.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use the Software for unlawful purposes (for example, fraudulent invoices), and don't attempt to bypass the license check, redistribute the Software as your own, or disrupt this website.

9. Intellectual property

The Software, website, text and design are owned by Muhammad Talha Akram. These Terms don't transfer ownership; you get only the license described above. Invoices and data you create belong to you.

10. Warranty and liability

We work hard to make Kitebill reliable, but the Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can't be excluded.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be noted on this page. Changes don't reduce rights for purchases already made. You may stop using the Software at any time. We may terminate a license for serious breach of these Terms (for example, publishing your key).

12. Governing law and complaints

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. Please contact us first; see Contact & complaints for response times. Payment and refund issues can also be raised with Paddle via paddle.net.
